Rick Irons General Contracting and Restoration, llc. is owned by Rick Irons of Limerick, Maine.

Rick began his construction career in 1974 at the age of 8 when his dad, Richard Irons, Sr., owner of Restoration Masons, a well known and respected business, "asked" him to mix his first, of many, batches of mortar. While growing up in Essex County, Ma. Rick spent summers and school vacations learning to clean bricks, tend the masons, stock the jobsite, set up ladders, erect staging, and learned the value of hard work and a good work ethic.

Against the strong advice of his parents, both college educated, Rick decided to forgo college and joined the family business in 1984. He quickly became an expert at masonry restoration and a hands on student of early architecture. Shortly after moving into a beautiful, but neglected, 18th century house in South Berwick, Maine, he started his own restoration masonry business in 1996. He and his wife, Tracy, spent five years of weekends and evenings, restoring their home, the 1786 Nathaniel Low house. It was during this time that he expanded his business from masonry restoration to building restoration.

Rick, Tracy and their three beautiful children now live in a ca. 1780 cape in Limerick, Maine.
